Estas fotos corresponden a un basculante modificado para poder montar neumático mas ancho (160 en 18"). Al tratarse de Cardan primero hubo que vaciar la parte que tocaba con la rueda mas ancha hasta casi llegar al eje cardan.  Motar escape alto con cantilever o monoamortiguador hubiera sido bastante más fácil. Para que quede lo mas pegado posible a la moto (no solo por estética, sino también para evitar quemaduras), he tenido que trabajar el cuerpo del silenciador haciéndole un hueco a la altura del amortiguador.

Comenzamos a montar los componentes que ya están acabados. Lo que falta no es fácil... quiero adaptarle un escape alto (al estilo TT de la primera época), y también estoy esperando un Colín replica Yamaha XS-550 Dirt Track, como el del fotomontaje que veis mas abajo. También tendría que llevar unos amortiguadores con deposito de gas con un poco mas de recorrido.

Restauracion un poco personal (maquillada en plásticos y funda de depósito).

El indestructible y eficiente motor Derbi variant, en esta ocasión con rueda pequeña…


En una de las pocas medidas de rueda minúscula, que disponía el mercado en esos años, (1983)...lo que hace que su conducción sea bastante nerviosa cuando la velocidad aumenta, pero muy eficaz para recorridos urbanos.

Horquilla modificada, alargada, reduciendo la precarga del muelle, esto junto al ángulo de pipa nos ha permitido una geometría bastante ágil y confortable.
